At Papsda we believe that God has called us to serve others with love. It’s one of our core values to selflessly serve. As a part of that plan, we have ‘adopted’ a small village in rural Cambodia. We send volunteer teams to Cambodia at least once per year to build and equip. This year, we have started a relationship with Captivating International, specifically their anti-trafficking project in Nepal. In July 2018 we are going back to South Africa to the Khomelela Community Centre in Bushbuck Ridge.
Here’s your next chance to travel with purpose and make a difference in lives overseas (and even more so, your own)! Download the 5-23 July 2018 South Africa Mission Trip Information Document. Online Application Form here.
It’s estimated that 20,000 Nepali women and girls and will be victims of human trafficking this year. Our partners at Captivating International believe the real figure could be 5 times higher. Girls will either be kidnapped or tricked into the dream of a better life. Within 3 hours of crossing the border, their reward will be enslavement, gang-rape, and prostitution. Girls as young as 8-years-old will be the servicing up to 40 men a day. Some will be killed to support the ruthless body parts industry.
Papsda is partnering with Captivating International and is supporting one of their 12 border crossing stations. They expect to rescue over 1,000 girls at this station alone, in the coming year. Papsda has committed to $20,000 for the next three years. You can save one girl from a living hell for just $20.
How many can you save? We can all make a difference.

The Cambodian village we adopted in the Pursat Province several years ago is absolutely thriving. Such a difference has been made in the health and hope of the people there. We have established a preschool, built numerous water wells and latrines. We’ve also taught sewing, gardening, engine mechanics which in turn has meant income for struggling families. Basic hygiene education has made a real difference in the everyday lives of the villagers. Regular updates are posted on our Facebook page.
Make a difference, as you have the experience of a lifetime! Travel and serve with a Papsda team to either Cambodia, 1-14 December 2017. Download the information sheet. Online Application Form here.
