Fear Not

Fear is said to be the most powerful emotion known to man and as the earth continues to decay we see fear lived out more and more. Collectively, we’re afraid of pretty much everything—from bugs to sharks, from boredom to change, from failure to success, from life to death—we feel fear on some level most days. Basil King, in his book The Conquest of Fear, points out that fear causes more misery than all the sin and sickness of our lives combined. We’re all afraid, but we have to get to the point where we understand that it doesn’t mean that we can’t also be brave. Join us as we take a closer look at fear and more importantly what God has to say to us about fear.
